Become qualified to perform the annual mandatory inspection of scaffolds
in accordance with workplace safety legislation with Vesco Scaffold Course.
About Scaffold Inspection
Workplace safety legislation requires annual inspections of scaffolds. This online scaffold course is competency-giving, enabling you to carry out such main inspections and understand scaffold regulations.
Scaffold inspection is one of many mandatory checks required for machinery and tools. The general requirements for these inspections are regulated by the Working Environment Act, but the police, the Danish Safety Technology Authority, and the Emergency Management Agency also have rules to consider, depending on the machine/tool being inspected.
It is essential that equipment undergoes appropriate inspections and maintenance. Daily inspections should be performed by the assembler when it comes to scaffold inspections. However, the annual inspection must be conducted by a qualified expert.
Main inspections must be registered and always documented. Our course includes an inspection report that you can download for this purpose. Additionally, we recommend keeping the inspection documentation for 5 years.
To be considered qualified, the Danish Working Environment Authority requires individuals to have the necessary training (scaffold course). Furthermore, one must have:
Knowledge of the equipment's technical structure and function,
Knowledge of the user manual,
Knowledge of the equipment's safety requirements,
Awareness of any other relevant authority requirements.
Our scaffold course, combined with the supplier's specifications and user manual, forms a solid foundation for understanding scaffold regulations and conducting annual inspections!
Why You Should Take a Scaffold Course
The course is competency-giving, enabling you to be considered a qualified expert to perform the annual main inspections on mobile and folding scaffolds.
The course includes the option to download an inspection report, which can be used during the inspection and subsequently serve as documentation for the completed scaffold inspection
